Our history
smartXdata's quest for monetizing data and making it an asset and treated as the commodity it is began two years ago between market and data executives who shared the same ideas. In 2022, smartXdata became incorporated and has continued to build the world's first global metadata/data exchange so it may accommodate all participants in the data industry.
smartXdata's global metadata/data exchange ecosystem allows economic participants and traders to monetize, acquire, share and 'trade' data with confidence. smartXdata will focus on standardized metadata and data sets, analytical derived data, indexation, and futures and options. smartXdata will offer new technologies for faster time-to-value by converting data into financial value.
smartXdata will address market failures when monetizing data and facilitate integration by improving data collection, reporting and mapping, price discovery/dissemination, and data management while adhering to ISO standard 17369.
